McCormick Tractors International Ltd. is a Canadian company that manufactures and sells McCormick brand agricultural equipment. The company was founded in 1911 by J.H. McCormick and is headquartered in Markham, Ontario.
The McCormick name has been associated with the production of agricultural machines and equipment since the 19th century. The company was founded by Cyrus McCormick in 1831, and it quickly became a leading manufacturer of horse-drawn reapers and other farm implements.
In 1902, McCormick merged with Deering Harvester Company to form International Harvester Company (IHC). IHC was one of the largest manufacturers of farm equipment in the world and produced a full line of tractors under the McCormick, International, and Farmall brand names.
