Zetor farm tractors

Zetor Tractor is a Czech manufacturer of agricultural machinery. The company was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic. Zetor produces a range of tractors, from entry-level models to high-powered machines for large farms.

Zetor History

Zetor's history began shortly after the end of World War II. In the aftermath of the war, Czechoslovakia was left with destroyed infrastructure and a need for rebuilding. The government turned to a group of engineers to help with the reconstruction effort. Among those engineers was Frantisek Zachoval, who would go on to found Zetor Tractor.

Zetor Lineup

The very first Zetor tractor was the Z 25. It had a 25-horsepower engine and could reach speeds of up to 20 kilometers per hour. Today, the company offers a wide range of models with different engines and speed capabilities.

The current lineup includes:

  • Zetor Proxima - 75 hp to 140 hp
  • Zetor Major - 80 hp to 160 hp
  • Zetor Crystal - 100 hp to 200 hp
