Hart-Parr farm tractors

Hart-Parr was founded in 1891 by Charles Hart and Charles Parr. The company was the first to manufacture a gasoline-powered tractor, which it did in 1898. Today, Hart-Parr is part of the CNH Industrial family of brands and continues to produce innovative agricultural equipment.

Hart-Parr History

The Hart-Parr brand has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s. The company was founded in 1902 by Charles Walter Hart and Charles Henry Parr. Together, they created one of the first gasoline-powered tractors in America. The company's name was later changed to Oliver Corporation, and it remained a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment until the 1980s. In recent years, the Hart-Parr brand has been revived by the parent company AGCO.
