Lanz tractors is a brand with a rich history, dating back to the early 20th century. The company was founded in Germany and quickly became one of the leading manufacturers of agricultural equipment in Europe.
Lanz tractors were first produced in Germany in 1873. The company started out making steam-powered engines for agricultural use. In 1893, Lanz began producing internal combustion engines and by 1910 they had switched to manufacturing only gasoline-powered engines.
The Lanz Bulldog was the most popular model of tractor produced by the company. It was first introduced in 1921 and remained in production until 1959. Over its nearly 40 years of production, more than 150,000 Bulldog tractors were built.
In addition to the Bulldog, Lanz also produced a number of other models including the Eilbulldog, D1300, D1400, and D1501.
