Cub Cadet History

Cub Cadet was founded in 1961 as a brand of the International Harvester Company. The first Cub Cadet tractor was created in 1963 and was designed to compete with other small farm tractors on the market. In 1981, International Harvester sold the Cub Cadet brand to MTD, which stands for Modern Tool and Die Company.
